In one of those health and nutrition stories that make you think when are they going to tell us to start smoking because its beneficial, Chocoholics around the world can quite literally take heart from research that shows chocolate can help you live longer.According to US research, people who eat chocolate and sweets up to three times a month live almost a year longer than those who eat a lot or those who steer clear of the stuff altogether.Scientists from the Harvard School of Public Health studied almost 8,000 men aged around 65 for a five-year period. The results were adjusted for other risk factors, including smoking and alcohol intake.
Chocolate, which was the obsession of the Aztecs (even today chocolate is used as a routine ingredient in Latin American cooking) was brought to Europe after the Conquistadors conquest of South America.Chocolate is big business with a global market worth of at least $75 billion, so this research is excellent news for the manufacturers. Day spa treatments are a lot more popular these day then they ever have been before, but not only here in the United kingdom. I work as a travel agent and over the past few years people coming into the store and booking some spa treatment has dramatically increased. But whats more interesting is that people now want to go on Middle East spa holidays to get a different feel ofspa treatments, but whats so beneficial about it all and why do people like it so much? Foremost, hair loss is not such a bad thing; some people make it seem as if their world is coming to an end when they notice hair loss; in most cases it’s nothing serious. Hair loss doesnt occur in only a particular age group or a particular sex. If you do not have hair loss problem every women would be able to make beatufull choppy hair cuts. (more…)

People have used wine in medicine ever since it was first invented.
